On Friday afternoon and Saturday up until the late afternoon, it was pouring down in Edinburgh. This did not make for some great sightseeing.
We went for a massive walk round the city anyway taking photos of Calton Hill, which is the headquarters of the Scottish Government. It also has some amazing monuments but it was so foggy it almost wasn't worth it.
When it started to fine up on Saturday evening, we re-visited all the sites we went to the day before to get better photos.
It was definitely worth going back the next day, the view was amazing. You could see all of Edinburgh.
