Hampstead Heath

We went to Hampstead Heath on Sunday. It's a humungous open park in the North of London, only about 8 stops from where I work in the middle of the city. It's insane, a huge forest. We only managed to do half of it, so we'll have to go back and do the rest.

It was a lovely sunny day, and pretty warm, about 9 degrees! We had lunch in Hampstead afterwards, such a pretty part of London. A lot of big mansions, most of the people who live there are very well off...

It's like the next step up from Chiswick, the areas are pretty similar, but Hampstead has slightly better shops :) But Chiswick has better pubs.

There is randomly a little zoo in the middle of the park. They have donkeys, lemurs, kookaburras and deer. There's also a massive old pergola in the middle of the forest. London is so random sometimes.
