On Sunday we woke up to Sunshine! It was pretty exciting.
Edinburgh Castle is right in the centre of the city on a big hill. It's pretty stunning, the way it looks out over the city. You can walk up the side of the hill to get to it, otherwise you can walk through town. I think the walk up the side is much nicer.
It's a pretty easy walk, and not as busy as coming from the streets. There was always a massive line for tickets to the castle. We didn't actually go in, it was £14 each, and we weren't that interested to be honest! I much preferred the view from the top of the hill, you could see the entire city.
Most of these photos were taken from the bottom, you get a much better view of the Castle than from the top.
