Southbank Christmas Markets

Tonight we went to the Southbank Christmas Markets by the London Eye. We are trying to make our way round most of the Christmas activities in London, so that's one marked off our list!

The markets are based on the German Christmas Markets, and have lots of little stalls that look like gingerbread houses. It's mostly food for sale, but there were a few stalls selling winter gloves and hats, snow globes and jewellery.

We ate heaps! We brought three different types of fudge, some churros with chocolate (so yummy), garlic bread and a traditional German pizza.

We didn't end up buying anything else, but it was really nice walking along the Southbank of the Thames, and seeing the London Eye all lit up. It was freezing, but other than that a really nice night.

We're going to the Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park tomorrow night, so will probably eat even more then! I'm on a mission to find some schnitzel...

That guy is totally photobombing me!
