Street Art on the Southbank in London

Now that the weather is warming up and it's no longer getting dark at 4.30 p.m. in the afternoon, we've stopped hibernating and have spent the last few weekends getting out and exploring London again.

One of our favourite things to do is to walk along the Southbank alongside the Thames. There's always something going on like markets and car boot sales, and it's always nice to pop into the National Theatre as they often have free photography exhibitions on which is a great way to spend an hour or two.

Our favourite walk section is between London Bridge and Westminster Bridge. This gives amazing views out over London and its star attractions like St Paul's, the London Eye and Big Ben.

We usually start off at either Borough Market or Maltby Street market, always early in the morning to avoid the huge crowds that appear after lunch!

Along with the usual London attractions, there's always some great street art to be found alongside the Thames and behind the Southbank centre.
