We've had an incredibly lazy long weekend, we had plans to go to Windsor or Cambridge for the day...but these never eventuated.
This is what we did instead..
Watching the New Years Eve fireworks over the Thames. New Years Eve is like Guy Fawkes night, there were people setting off fireworks everywhere. It was amazing.
We watched the entire 5th Series of Doctor Who. Matt Smith is an even better Doctor than David Tennant, I didn't think that would be possible.
Eating Strawberry Tarts and Almond Croissants from Patisserie Valerie. I love that they package every item in a little box with ribbon. It's like opening a present.
We had yummy Banana and Blueberry pancakes and Hot Chocolate at Giraffe Cafe down the road
On Monday afternoon we went for a walk around Chiswick House and Gardens, it's about a 15 minute walk from our house. So pretty, lot's of pathways, hedges and squirrels. Very English.

ReplyDeleteI saw a video of the london fireworks, they looked amazing! I did attend one of the guy fawkes displays on a barge on the thames and it was pretty impressive. Gotta love big city events!
